@RedheadMetalC yes it is.. i have it a special edition of alien³ with the alternative version since a while... its a pity that they cut this scene out of the theatrical version... imo this scene adds more atmosphere to the film, showin' that the facility is vast.. its also desribed in the book, that the prisoners were constantly searching for ressources/hidden goods in the facility....
