Keyboard Rhythm on a vintage Tonewheel Hammond. Rhythm how we USED to make it before the automatics came along ! Peter Hayward uses the lower manual (8' drawbar) to create 'bongos' for a hand-made, Latin American accompaniment. This track is taken from Peter's 'live' video concert - DRAWBAR MAGIC.

@decatlon14 Your really kind comment has made my day! - Yes, this is how Ken Griffin and all the 'old school' Hammond players used to make their 'live' rhythms. I wanted to get at least one example of this unique style up onto YouTube before we die out, and automatic backings take over completely.

I STARTED PLAYING ORGAN WHEN I WAS 11.. SURE MISS IT.... IVE NOW BEEN PLAYING PIANO BAR FOR 28 YEARS. BUT I ALWAYS LOVE THE ORGAN... GOOD JOB
