Wow, this was quite insightful! I've been thinking of it as just writing, and writing as much as possible, but thinking about it as actual enjoyment might not be so torturous!

Hi Jennifer,
I came across another user's video which recommends a website called "Write or Die". She said it helped her write 2000 words in 1 hour! It's based on punishment (that you choose) for not meeting your goals. But apparently, it worked for her. Check it out. Just google "Write or Die. Good luck!

Although it was awhile ago when I did Nano. The take-away on a personal level was that if forced me to trust my instincts (from the character / narrator POV). It was adrenaline filled - as there is not so much time to doubt your choices b/c you must move forward --- as in life :) Besides, later you can go back and re-write --- as in life :) gluck!

Thanks I'll check it out. I'm not usually one to deal with negative reinforcement. I usually rebel, but it's an interesting concept. The write-ins with friends really helped though!
