How to use Gimp 2.6 basics part 1

This is a tutorial for beginners of gimp, I will do more tutorials, but this one was needed badly for a friend.

This is only Part 1 of the tutorial as the tutorial together was too big to put on as one big film. This tutorial covers how to colour and how to layer pictures. The first part focuses on colouring and ends in 2 minutes as it is easy to understand. The rest of the part 1 tutorial is harder to understand, therfore having more time to explain it.

I just got Gimp, and I tried to follow where you enlarged the work area from a small square to full screen, you work so fast it was hard to see where you clicked. Good vid tho! I'll watch again! :)

@desertfox1792 Its the layer tab when you're doing work that needs to include layers. To open go to Windows > Recently closed

whats that tab on the left of the screen? I only have Toolbox when Gimp starts up
