Say it Out Loud, Pumky Sue

A bunch of pumpkin (like a kilo)
A big ol' potato (not actually old)
The white bit of a leek chopped really small
An onion chopped small also
A litre of veggie stock
Li'l bit of cumin
A little bit of ground coriander seed
About the same amount of allspice
And a bit of nutmeg
A small tub of cream
Pepper and salt
I think I put some garlic in there

Anyway fry up the leek and onion in a pot and then put in the spices. Let that fry up for a tiny bit more and then jam in the chunked up potato and pumpkin. Boil them forever, and then have at it with a hand blender. Drop the cream in there.

It's hot at this point, and probably bubbling. When a bubble pops, don't let it splash into your eye, because it's effing hot.

Simmer it for some more time. Then eat it all in one go, or else suffer a terrible curse.

Wow, interesting mix of spices. I usually just have chilli pepper, salt and black pepper. No potatoes though, and since I live in Japan I use kabocha　(A japanese kind of pumpkin).
