  • This song reminds us that life goes on, even if it hurts. Ingrid Michaelson is the only one that can capture truth so well.

  • "Starting now I'll never know your name

Starting now I'll never feel the same

Starting now I wish you never came into my world."

This song goes out to the one who came into my life and turned it all upside down...who made me question everything...who built me up and then tore me down...who made me forget the things that were once important to me...and who filled my head with lies and promises of forever. Starting now...I officially say goodbye to you.

  • Starting Now. Tonight.

Even though tomorrow I'll probably text my heart out to you.

But even so, starting now, I'll never know your name.

  • Love this song and Ingrid's cover of "Somebody that I used to know", good old cure for a hangover from an ugly relationship!

  • Its amazing just to find song writers like her. But its even more rare to find singers that make there words come to life and really understand what there singing. I feel like Ingrid is the most bittersweet singer ever. I would love for all my friends to know about her; but at the same time, i want her to be my sweet little secret.

  • She keeps repeating "Starting Now" for a reason. It's what everyone who has experienced heartbreak does all the time. We think, "Starting now things will change. I will get over you." When in reality, we consistently break our promise and continue dwelling on it. We don't want to get over it. We don't want anything to change. And yet, once we accept the fact that change happens, that's when we can start to forget, and move on with our lives. Starting now...

  • @MsJesusluv1

    That was painful to read.

  • @lisarieee

I think you mean the repeat button.

  • @ElizabethRoseR no way!

  • starting now.

  • Whatever.

  • Best break up song ever. Go Ingrid!
