Whether you are a forex, stock market, day trader or commodity futures trader, Money management is key. Most know that from my daily blog at http://investorandtrader.blogspot.com/ , I often talk about Money Management. Now on the video blog, I will give a brief introduction to it, and in the next few entries, discuss Money Management principles, and the importance of such strategies . . .

This is all about Risk Analysis, and a couple of key, key principles that you need to consider with Risk Analysis.

re: 2% well I have 4k to play with so 2% trade would be £80 my fees for trading in/out are £11.50 + 0.5% tax so the problem is there i'd have to be up 15% ish before i made any money ,or am I being thick ?

@sausage4mash Yeah ... that's a tough one ... I have $3.50 commissions, so it changed the entire situation.

Plus, for accounts under $9,000 .... I mention that "rule no. two" is almost a must. In other words, constant additions of capital to keep growing the account capital.

I'm sometimes asked ... "Aren't you afraid you're giving away some secrets here? Aren't you worried it'll kill your profitability". Then I look at the dropping view count on this playlist? And smile.

Hey Dan, quality video. Have you noticed that as your we get deeper into your money management videos they get fewer and fewer views? It's your prophecy coming true...I guess money management seperates the wheat from the chaff so to speak.
