Fallen Comrade

It hasn't been shown on the evening news, but it's happening everyday. Another man or woman serving their country pays the ultimate price, and a ceremony is performed. Those who serve today do so under their own free will, but they only ask for one thing in return: When they are deployed to fight in a war, it is absolutely necessary, and there are no other available options. When it comes to the 'War on Terror,' there are other ways to deal with opposing global views. Communication has not been exhausted.

But soldiers continue to fight, watching their brothers and sisters fall beside them. Hearing the number of those who have died climbing into the thousands can be a bit numbing. But for one reason or another, it's harder to forget the image of one. Please pass this video on to those you love. Whether you support the war or not, look into the eyes of these soldiers, and ask yourself if we're doing the right thing. I can't speak for all soldiers, but i can speak for myself when i say there are other ways to protect our country , our freedoms, and our way of life. Are there other ways to deal with opposing global views? I hope so. Has communication been exhausted? I hope not. Will a change come soon? Hope. I can only hope.
