In this animation the skier is animated without clothes, once naked we can see the underlying limb movements. It is interesting to see how the skilled skier moves realative to his head this may be closer to the athlete's perception of limb movement than what the video captures. Created by Matthew Brodie with help from Ben Griffin, Rhys Thorp, Alan Walmsley and Wyatt Page and Mt Ruapehu Alpine Lifts in New Zealand. You can find out more about the athlete Ben Griffin at www.bengriffin.co.nz

Hi Simon, THe program to display the data was written in MATLAB. The data from NZ ski athlete, Ben Griffin, was captured using Fusion Motion Capture. GPS, IMUs and pressure insoles were attached to the athlete. For more information see my paper in the first issue of the Journal of Sports Technology published by Wiley and Blackwell.
