Incredible video!!! Sights very few are able to see, even if they are avid hikers. What does a setup like that cost you? I love it and really want to get into it. Couldnt be a cooler way of viewing the area we live in.

So Inspiring. My new Hero2 (HumbleOutdoors $270 with free memory) will be used for more pedestrian pursuits. Thanks again for putting together such a great video.

how far can you fly those? and how do you see where ur going?

@blair170 You see from the plane's point of view via a camera. It's very easy to see where you're going. I'm not sure what the current record is, but it's many miles.

@apricotsnms516 We're usually standing at the mouth of the canyon, as close as we can get without getting TOO close. We need a certain amount of distance to get keep a clear line of sight. Many of the sequences were shot along the foothills between Springville and Provo.

Where is this at? Is that Utah Lake?
sjorgnsn 3 months ago
@sjorgnsn You can see Utah Lake in the first shot, yes. That shot is viewed from halfway up the summit of Mt. Timpanogos. The road going up Provo Canyon is in between Timp & Cascade Mountains. The daytime shots were from various locations around Utah Valley.
