A very significant political event took place in Eldoret on Saturday. Former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga joined former president Daniel arap Moi at a rally during which Moi vowed to ensure the return of KANU to the countrys leadership. Political leaders are falling over themselves to win the approval of Njenga whose Mungiki outfit has been credited with many macabre killings and extortions. Dennis Onsarigo reports on the Mungiki political connection and why the police should worry.

  • If Mungiki had cut off Mois children vaginas and penises off, would he (moi) speak the same? If "watoto wote ni wako" is true then the government should elease all those who are in jail and set them free. Mr. Moi, pretenders are worse than Hadolf Hitler. Moi, your aproaching your sunset days, take it easy mr sir

  • The mungiki sect members should be banned and the sect leaders jailed. corruption is corruption.

  • Mungiki needs to be rehabilitated. Ati you are telling me that millions of shilllings are collected weekly govt could "use" this money to fund the street kids buy reliable machines and make Nairobi what it used to be " The Green City in the Sun". Forget Wathika he is fat now with hard earned as well as carefully stolen money and he forgets his roots we will see wale wamama that helped you need you Wathika.

  • Lol.... politics and religion never cease to amaze or shock me.

  • I will tell you how: 90% of all politicians in Kenya have either been involved in some illegality or were aware of it. So what's with the surprise when another one joins them?

  • Nice imagination you have. This man was convinced to try politics and that's exactly what he is doing.

  • That's not what am saying I mean, once there's no common enemy by the name of RAO, who do you think they will go for next? Each other! Then we'll have PEV all over again. It's this kind of short term alliances like KKK that will destroy our country. Wananchi need to reconcile under the leadership of their councils of elders, not their polticians.
