You can call it a trailer, you can call it an RV you can call it a motor coach, but most small business companies tha need a low cost moble marketing vehicle will call it an answer to prayer !

  • Thanks for all the comments - not selling REPEAT...not selling the old RV or SUV in the video - they are merely used to show the "receiver and hooking mechanism".

    It's a "concept"...for heavens sake :>)

But, thanks for the comments - I do so appreciate them...I think.

  • That is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. I can't believe you would choose a model painted beige, since that color hasn't been used on RVs since the 80's! Then demonstrate it with a 20 year old Surburban? It looks incredibly old, ugly, and dated.

I'd be embarrassed to tow that. Even more embarrassed to pull into an RV park.

  • Hello rbryanhull,

Thanks for your comment - I agree the "video of the prototype is "ugleeeeeeeeeeeee"...

But, it's only for road testing and other testing.

The "new" custom ordered Flexhom - Dynamik is just that "new"...all Flexhom - Dynamik's are custom built and to the "owners specs"...

So, all the benefits YOU get, without the "ugleeeeeeee"... :>)

  • One task of a marketing vehicle is to gain attention of a target market.

I have personally witnessed the crowds that gather to watch a Flexhom manuever - the 360 degree turn is a particular crowd pleaser.

Far from being a "waste of money" the Flexhom is a "money maker" for small companies who can not afford a tractor / trailer as a mobile marketing platform.

The company's SUV for the Staff that goes along with the Flexhom Marketing Vehicle, can use the vehicle after parking Flexhom.

  • Are these things still around?

  • How old is this video? I don't see how you could use the center seats by the time you brace the roof hitch to the frame. And I'd hate to be in a heavy cross wind with the hitch point so high off the ground, it would be constantly trying to tip over the tow vehicle. Nice idea, but I don't see it working. Plus, you can pick up a decent used single axle road tractor, which make great 5th wheel pullers, for a third the cost of a new hummer.

  • I saw this and instantly thought thats awesome! People with a large family can keep the sub and still have a large rv with out having to buy another truck. Also the 360 turns and the way you can back it up just blew my mind. I have parked trailers with a forklift that way and oh my god so much easier. Hope to see these on the road some day and get the chance to check one out in person! Good luck

  • @GhostRider3149 Most here were LTAO at you, too.

  • @rbryanhull <--- Moron.

  • @NightSailor Thank you for your comment - there is no "inside" ...this is just a prototype - not intended to do anything but to research the engineering of the design of the receiver and the method of structurally reinforcing the roof / frame of the SUV that the receiver is installed into. There is no need to build a competitive RV that hooks to the receiver, or to use an expensive SUV to do the prototyping of the enjneering of the design - that would be a waste of our resourses - Thks

  • I saw the VW video some months back as was thinking this idea had merit and need to be upscaled. I like the RV also. WOuld love to see pictures of the inside. It seems like you need video cameras in the back of the trailer for parking it. But with those it would be FANTASTIC to park--eliminating the difficulties so that anyone could do it.

  • @rbryanhull well then stay the hell away from it
