Hey Lisa,
Keep in mind that this is unfinished. I still have to add a composite of my hand drawing his hand at the beginning, while he whistles the theme to Duck Tales. That's why he examines his hand at the start--he will only just have acquired it. Some technical info: this was drawn "in threes" to save time. That means there are 30 frames per second, but only ten unique drawings, each of which lasts three frames. Obviously the animation would be smoother if I'd done it in twos or sketched every single frame, but then I would've been stuck drawing 800 or 1200 frames as opposed to the 400 or so you see here. And since it takes an average of ten minutes for me to pencil, ink, scan and color each image, the hours begin to add up fast. But if your film is only two minutes long and only partially animated, I could conceivably draw a unique image for all 30 frames of each second (or 24, if you're shooting at that framerate).
AWESOME!!!!

Sweet. This is really good for the extreme footage count; my longest was 14 seconds and I didn't even ink and paint so I understand the time required to work. Where did you get the dialogue? I was wondering if I can animate to that as well. My feelings are same somewhat.

That was awesome! And I hate to disagree with you, Scrooge, but this was definitely not wasted time! Traditional animation is called "traditional" for a reason. It will always be my favorite.
