I just discovered Bert Jansch... wow!...

An uncompromising, distinctive voice, an honest and straight music and in addition a guitar style, that sounds, as if it would have fallen down from heaven – even after all this time. But the true reason why I'm really shocked is, that he seems to have been a part of me for all my life, since I heard him first, when I was 16 or so. Why else I've got tears in my eyes? Wow, I'm 52 now and still feel a bit older since he has died in October last year. So nice to see you all feel the same way!

I got into him to late I was told by him when I met Robin pecknold he said he influenced him and I went home and listened funnily enough I unaware of his death until I checked the fleet foxes website RIP
