@trainriders1031 You're right. It's a Pascack Valley Line Train. Although SOME trains (the 7:15 out of Spring Valley in the morning and the 5:35 in the evening) have up to 6 cars.

@xdaftpunkedx At least you guys get the double-deckers, too! These Spring Valley Line trains are a mix of Comet III, IV, and V and I really don't like the older cars.

I can't wait to see it or ride it
-

-
the P40 is the former Amtrak Genesis, the first one that was retired since the P42DC order.

Is the PL42, just the diesel version of the ALP-46? What type of car/name or model, is the 1st, and last, 4th car in this video?

All of the passenger cars on the train are called Comet 5's.

On the NJ Transit routes out of Hoboken Terminal 2 routes go to New York Sate on Metro-North Tracks. To show NJ Transit and Metro-North share the routes in NY State NJ Transit has painted some locomotives and passenger cars in Metro-North Paint.

is it true that nj transit might release P32AC-DM's.

I'm not sure about that. But I know that NJ Transit has leased 5 P40DC Genesis locomotives from Amtrak.
