@Damocles178 Yeah, it's supposed to be a tutorial level. Getting the player used to the controls, interacting, moving around and shooting.

@teamavolition That is true but you have to remember in this case he is a tutorial boss and it's apparently only the first level in Duke Nukem Forever which would more less be why he's easy compared to the original; since it would be a bit too early to churn out something too difficult :)

In terms of Gameplay forever will be great but I think better sounds would've helped; I just don't see the sounds having the same charm as 3D and I hope the assault commander says "Suck it down" like the original :)

While the new Cycloid Emperor looks nice; I think the original was more menacing; just compare the faces and you'll see what I mean :) I was quite disappointed when they went for the more generic growl sounds in Forever; the Cycloid Emperor's sounds in 3D were better and more scary imo. In Duke Nukem 3D I was scared of the battlelord before he even came into view; that ear splitting roar certainly chilled many's a player but in Forever the effect sadly won't be the same.

@Metildaable It's a tutorial level. It has intentionally been done so the player can get used to the game mechanics. It was done on "Come Get Some" skill level. The full game is fun (but nothing special) and the real bosses will indeed kick your ass in terms of difficultly.
