Part 1 of 6: A group of aging SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) members had a "reunion" on November 7, 2007 in Chicago. They met at Loyola University's Lake Shore campus in Rogers Park on the city's north side, where they reminisced about smoking dope, fighting "the man," and generally trying to turn American society upside down. Featured in the video are Michael James, co-owner of the Heartland Cafe and President of the 49th Ward Democrat Party. Like the other speakers in this video, James is an avowed Marxist. The SDS spawned the Weather Underground, a violent group that bombed police stations and attempted to bomb the Pentagon. What you will hear these people say reveals much about the mentality of the Far Left. SDS is still active and recruiting on college campuses; you'll hear these people talk about their hope that today's youth will "make the revolution." Recorded and edited by T.H. Mannis for Chicago News Bench (http://rogersparkbench.blogspot.com). Copyright 2007, all rights reserved.

  • These assholes need to go live in a communist country! The revolution should start here and it should involve bringing treason charges against groups like this and life time prison terms. They will find plenty of sympathy behind bars.
