@btnhfane1999 are you claiming your cobalt ss has 350+ hp? im a chevy fan through and through, and a mechanic, ive worked on many of these, and unless its modded, your only pushing 260hp dude. and of course its faster than the zx2, but thats cause it weighs less and has 100 more horsepower, but let us get the turbo on the zx2, and ill record a video of us racing a cobalt ss, im interested to see the outcome myself. and i think you had a bent tie rod or half shaft on yours from your explanation.

@btnhfane1999 and the turbo is in the works for it now, getting the money saved for it now as we speak, we are callin it the "hidden agenda" project. we are looking to push about 16 p.s.i., we got alot of work ahead of us, but money is the only issue right now. damn the economy. right now im working on the turbo header, but i ran outta header tubing. our only fear is the pcm/ecu, they arent too easy to work with. but im finding tricks with it as i go. wish us luck. i love owning a shop!!! lol.

@btnhfane1999 i disagree, my friend has the 03 zx2 with the 2.0 zetech and we put a CAI on it after pulling the baffle box out, installed a throttle body off a crown vic (same style bigger bore) full 2.5" exhaust, we built a header for it, and did a cat delete, and it has a 4" tip. 17" wheels, megan racing coilovers, on 205/45r17 yokahama street tires. and still to this day a civic hatch, 4 door, 2 door, vtech, or non vtech, auto or manual, of any year, hasnt touched it, with or without mods.

@krazy8tattoos ha ha, shit at 90 the car shook so bad i didn't want to go any faster, lol. i even balanced the tires properly myself. front end was solid, alignment was spot on. tires were brand new, cheep ones but still brand new. idk, i sold the car anyways. it was rotting through. i really didn't feel comfortable lifting it on a hoist any more, lol. its someone elses problem now. i went from 130hp to 350+hp..... hmmm sorry to me the scort wasn't shit.

@krazy8tattoos the zx2 was all out, lol, its my car. it had a bad coolant temp sensor at the time but after i replaced it, it didn't feel any faster. idk, to me the car was slow, i had a great time beating the shit out of it everysingle day i drove it but i went from this car to a cobalt ss supercharged car. so to me this escort aint shit. hell, my GF's caviler beat this damn car. the maintence was flawless, had a CAI, but no exhaust. not much else you can do other than light weight shit. meh...

take out your cup holders the dual one and pull the cord cluster up and snip the only solid white cord this is your "govorner cord" basically your cutting the signal which only allows the zx2 to go 110 tops the needle will max out instead of stop at the limited speed of 110 ONLY do this is your car can handle it maybe put a toggle switch your check engine light will come on after the first 50 miles but after you can turn it on and off this is normal nothings wrong "use with caution" ha
