I shot this at the old 9:30 Club (on F street) Washington DC. I remember that they played 3 nights in a row, all sold out, all great shows of course!
DEVO came out...kicking off their set by...sitting down on some stools and playing the first 2 songs (semi-acoustic/ somewhat cheapo electronic) versions of Jocko Homo...and then "Going Under" ....afterwhich, they got rid of the seats and went to work...as always, They Delivered!!!

  • PLEASE!! UPLOAD ALL THE FINAL SUITE!!!

I CAN`T DIE WITHOUT WATCH DISCO DANCER IN THAT TOUR!!!

  • I need a chick.

  • This was a great show! 9:30 was my favorite hang out. Did you shoot any other shows?

  • @weaseldragon I didn't realize they were still playing. I will definately Gewgle it and see what I can find. If its near enough, I am there.

  • @jvmss Then go see them...

  • I really miss these guys.

  • I recall when I saw them on this tour that Mark explained why they were all sitting down ... "to prove that we still can after [this many] years in this business." (From interviews, this was apparently the album where he felt they had the least control over what they created, and thus the one he enjoyed least at the time.)

  • i wish there was more... This sounds exactly like the version from the live album "Now It Can Be Told". I don't care for this version of the song, or the first three tracks on that live album, but they made me laugh so I'd like to see them, and not just hear them!
