Faselei! neo geo pocket color

Only have been released in Japan and the UK, the English language version of Faselei is one of the rarest in the Neo Geo Pocket Color library. Only 10,000 copies were made, and 5000 of them were recalled when SNK filed for bankruptcy.

Moving around in this game is somewhat unique and will take awhile to get used to. Instead of moving the character with the D-Pad in an open parameter, you set your path of movement by selecting directional icons, you also have a limited number of steps to make.

What puts a huge learning curve on this movement system are frequent, disorienting reference point changes depending on which way you're facing.

yeah it is, it took me awhile to get used to. you gotta a REAL sense of direction. would've helped if the interface included an on-screen compass

i was about 10 years old when i was in my neo geo pocket phase...my mom bought me a blue camo neo geo on ebay...and this guy wound up throwing this game in for free...i had no clue only about 5000 copies of this game exist in the US....i feel special now lolz

This looks fun, the battles look like they can be handled as long as you get the drop on the enemy...I'm also sure there are some hard ass battles where enemies automatically start with the drop on you, gotta find this.

Not much w/o manuals etc, a few $ maybe. The UK version used to go for $80 (about £60). but prices gone down a lot since this video was made.
