@boredutuber757 that's not the engine's fault. It's because of shitty coding and bad optimization. Not to mention the fact that it's a shitty console port. GTA IV is much better after 50 patches though.

@crackkatt you do know a $200-300 PC can play rockstar games at the same quality and slightly higher resolution than consoles. look up cheap quad cores like A6, A8 and phenoms with decent graphics cards like radeon 5570, which is on sale for $30 right now. we just like to build high end PCs cause it's fun and we love 1080p and above resolutions, but beating this generation's consoles is extremely cheap and easy.
