It's from Lazlo's POV. Actually, this song doesn't fit him for a number of reasons:
1) He and Patsy are NOT officially boyfriend and girlfriend
2) He's not a teenager
3) On some episodes he seems to like her less than on others

Along with all that, I'm not really a LazloxPatsy supporter, but hey, I just wanted to make this video. :) There are places where you can kinda tell I had trouble finding fitting clips, but I think it came out well.
