Pets are indeed therapeutic. I have a border collie. A walk with my dog can help so much, just a chance to take my mind off things.
The notes you have in different places im kinda the same in that sence, i am always writing things down.

I hope that you do try again at the shelter. The Humane Society is a great organization :). I volunteer at the Valley Animal Center in my area. I actually adopted Amelia from this center.

Also, pets are VERY therapeutic, indeed. My Amelia squirrel nut is my favortitest little baby. Check out my latest vid "My Scaredy Cat" if you want to see her :). She is sooooo precious.

Hi Megan!
I think it's really cool you have 3 rooms to yourself! Being greatful for what I have really made me start to think in a whole new way. I used to be severly depressed and had some pretty bad self destructive behaviors but thankfully I over came them.
Just curious have you ever research orthomolecular medicine? What helps you with your anxiety? I have had one bad anxiety attack where I really felt I had a heart attack but I knew it was from anxiety. Any advice?

@NikeshalovesCasey It's been 2 yrs since that video. I have had not just my own rooms, but my own apartment! An income based place. I have to be really tight with money, but I LOVE having my own place. I have two dogs living with me, so I am never alone. Two, routine, daily long walks are the main thing that helps with my anxiety. The other things are continually challenge myself by doing things that are moderately uncomfortable so I can learn that it is OK. Calling my mom during a panic attack.

Hi, Meghan :)
I really like this video. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to be living at home with your parents.
It looks like you have most of the supports that I also have living with depression and anxiety: music :), reading materials :), surrounded with encouraging statements in your bathroom, and your interests. It looks so well organized and comfy :). You're a lot like me in this sense :).
Do you volunteer?
Hugs,
Colleen

Don't let it fool you! I had just cleaned up and thought it was a good time to do this particular video. It's not always that tidy, especially when I'm depressed.
No, I don't volunteer. I tried at the Humane Soc. where I used to live, but being around the people caused WAY too much anxiety & made me miserable. I liked walking the dogs, though. I want to try again at the shelter being built nearby when it is up. Now isn't a good time anyway. My moods are too erratic.
