I cannot remember my exact settings but when I shot this I did have the settings wrong. I think I had mirror lockup on, so when the second strike occurred the shot was just the mirror going up, so I missed the shot. Having mirror lock up on reduces the time of the shutter lag so going from 100-120ms it went down to about 60ms. Only draw back is what you see in the video, you lose some strikes.

It wasn't that spectacular, and was quite small on the frame, unfortunately. I will see if I can dig it up and post a video reply for it.

Hey astro that home made trigger works a treat! I'm still waiting for some daytime storms here in Mackay so I can use my trigger I got from the states 2 years ago.
