  • ~If you shoot in frame advance the camera should shot the next shot? I does on the mine how is yours wired? See my video response.

  • I cannot remember my exact settings but when I shot this I did have the settings wrong. I think I had mirror lockup on, so when the second strike occurred the shot was just the mirror going up, so I missed the shot. Having mirror lock up on reduces the time of the shutter lag so going from 100-120ms it went down to about 60ms. Only draw back is what you see in the video, you lose some strikes.

  • It wasn't that spectacular, and was quite small on the frame, unfortunately. I will see if I can dig it up and post a video reply for it.

  • Hey astro that home made trigger works a treat! I'm still waiting for some daytime storms here in Mackay so I can use my trigger I got from the states 2 years ago.

  • Would be nice to see the result of that shot.
