Phun model of adiabatic processes in ideal gas. Adiabatic heating occurs when the pressure of the gas is increased. Adiabatic cooling occurs when the pressure of the gas is decreased as it does work on the piston.

So it's not realist, as it models unrealistic behaviour.

In english:
This model is even more realist than an ideal gas. It considers the particle radius, then is like a rigid spheres gas.
In Phun v5 attractive interactions can be included, so you can achieve something similar to a VanderWalls gas, even be able to liquefy it, if you use a light graveness and very light particles.

No, you'd have to turn gravity off.
Plus, this question is really old.

no,all you do is make the circles, make it bouncy, zero friction, and make it way like ALMOST nothing,

the balls represent and act like gas molecules. just turn up your bounciness, put friction to zero and turn off gravity... i'm guessing!
