PART 4 in SERIES - In this vid I give you more info on doing bends in the blues... which notes you can bend in the pentatonic scale, how to do a curl, exercises to keep them in tune and how to mute the strings...

Taught by Justin Sandercoe.

Full support at the justinguitar web site where you will find hundreds of lessons on a wide range of subjects, and all the scales and chords that you will ever need! There is a great forum too to get help, no matter what the problem.

And it is all totally free, no bull. No sample lessons, no memberships, no free ebook. Just tons of great lessons :)

To get help with this lesson (and for further info and tabs), find the Lesson ID in the video title (like ST-667 or whatever) and then look it up on the Lesson Index page of justinguitar.com

Have fun :)

  • dude, there are 100% definitely certain notes you can't bend. Bend the root note up a semitone and it sounds crap... unless you are playing some kinda jazz or want to play really out, then play whatever you like...

  • I love the way you teach. It's very easy to understand and see what you are doing.

  • Dude (Justin) , you rule!

  • That animal noise at the end sounded EXACTLY like my string bending.

  • @liveslowlivesimple Sadly I think it isn't ... Oh dear God haha

  • @uj4cars i really hope this is a joke

  • justin is the best teacher ever. long live king justin.

  • i am lucky enough to have figured this out for myself. Started playing trumpet in the 4th grade, NATURAL on drums, and those drummin' years playin' Country, Souther, Hard Rockk were the best years of my life. I learned friom watchimg bass, lead, and rhythm guitar from them. I am on YT too! glassman18302

  • Ya know. There are some people that really want to learn guitar and a few leads. Same way as I would have taught it Justin! I think what you are doing is simply awesome!!!!!!!
