my cousin was on a field trip in okc when this happened....they too thought it was nothing but a mere earthquake. My 8th grade teacher from 2 yrs ago told us that he worked in mustang at the time and they also felt the tremble from the bomb then saw plumes of smoke out of the window .

This is one of the best memorial videos that I have seen. I was a senior in high school, living just 30 miles from OKC on that day. I remember the floor shook, and we all thought it was a small earthquake, only to get to class and realize that this terrible event had happened. I think about this alot, and now my children know what happened there. We visit the memorial every time we are back home in Oklahoma. This gives you something to think about. That our lives were forever changed that day.

i was in the 5th grade living in Mangum, Oklahoma when this happened. Imagine sitting in your Geography class and your teacher turning on the tv to see this going on not 3 hours away from the town you live in....it takes a little bit of innocence away from you, that's for sure. I can honestly say that this was the day I realized this world isn't a safe place after all.....

@chezzyproductions *hugs* God is always with us even in our darkest hours

In fact this song portrays brilliantly what led to that day. People(McVeigh & Nichols) living like there was no God or judgement.

i live in broken arrow, ok and in 5th grader we went to the memorial for the okc bombing. there were wifes and husbands, aunts and uncles, daughters and sons moms and dads working thier who have lost loved ones. it was hard because i lost my aunt and my cousin (she was in the daycare there) and then a few years later i lost my daddy to 9/11. he was on the plane that hit first. god bless anyone who has lost loved ones,. may they be in heaven finally at peace.

I just went to the memorial and musium. I want to say it's 'a right of passage' for all Oklahomans. But that just doesn't feel right.

I understand what you are trying to say. I think it's a right of passage for all of america and everyone who has the chance to go should.
