It is June 6 / 2011(D-Day). I am proud to be Canadian, and today i look back and say thank you to the Black Watch! My family & i have a country today because of you Great Guys, and all the others who have fought & died for our Canada, thank you. But, i must also say, maybe ww-2 Commander Simmons should have been shot in France for letting boys you down?

All to save money.

@DBCAIN the Canadian Airborne Regiment had to be dismantled, it was completely corrupt and a national embarrassment. maybe America stands for that kind of trash but not Canada.

God Bless you all !!!

Never forget who was responsible for disbanding not only the Black Watch, but the Queen's Own RIfles, Fort Garry Horse and the Canadian Guards....Pierre Trudeau....may he rot in hell.

how about his good buddy Jean Chretien, who disbanded the Canadian Airborne Regiment.
But anyways great video of our heritage. This reminded me of the end of empire ceremony in Hong Kong 1997. The "Black Watch" marching off to the tune of Auld Lang Syne in a similar sad and rainy day.
