The determination of the people's will to fight was what kept the Vietnamese going in the war, they still sustained far more casualties in almost any engagement with American or South Vietnamese troops. Technology and training did prove to be more in battle effective, but against the people of a country who were so patriotic to their cause (Revolutionary War!), there is no victory.

Because of that war we welcomed over 50,000 Hmong to Minnesota. I've met many, co-workers, neighbors and friends. I never met one that I didn't like. They are beautiful people.

I waz there!! Less than a month ago!!! when I went down to one of the tunnels that hadn't been made bigger for tourists a bat flew into my face, it was pitch black, I waz on my own and fucking scared

Truth is we had no business being there. These poor people were our enemies? I spent 20 months at Cu Chi in 1969-1970 and I liked the Vietnamese I met.
