EWS 67005 & 67027 at work dragging 91127 & 91131 from Retford to Wakefield Westgate via York & Leeds (and Hambleton Jn.) due to engineering works at Moorthorpe Jn. (between Doncaster & Westgate).

  • You've put in the tags proper engine fail, but do you realise as it's going via York and reversing to Leeds, that there is no electric between York and Leeds?

  • 67027 was hauling 91121 not 91127, I also got these Diversions, Got some good horns.

  • Was 1 set in reverse formation?

  • Nice footage of some rare occasional workings - what a difference a livery can make to the Class 67 appearance. Like your steady cam work, zoom and pan - but a monopole or tripod will 'prove' the Class 67 horn didn't catch you out ......
