2003 IC CE Checking Lights

I was just out checking the lights on the bus to verify if the work properly or not. Same with the crossing gate and stop sign.

why are the lights gray?

They're G2 Fusion lights. They have clear lenses and clear looking LEDs, but they light up amber and red color.

Why's that? I love them. They are neat how they flash and they are very effective with stops.

I love the LEDs, and strobbing LEDs on newer buses. But, to help you there, I do love older buses that have incadescant.
