@EastAngliaUK The thing is though.. The Boxted Air Field isn't at Boxted! It's 'next door' at Langham.. The only reason it wasn't called Langham Air Field was because there already was an air field of that name, in Norfolk.. :)

I have cycled over the bridge at 05:40 many times, on my way to Boxted Air Field or just out for a ride.. The former US WWII airfield takes up most of the space on the left side of the motorway (going north) for quite some distance, but not much left to see now.. :P

I was at Boxted just yesterday when my dad had to pick up some tools from his work.
