Bengaluru, one of the most rapidly growing metropolis in the country is also reputed to be the garden city, the pub city and the silicon valley of India. Today, Kempegowda's Bengaluru is not only known for the above titles but also for the millions of people who make the city what it is today.

There are numerous people in our city who are serving neighbourhoods and communities who are not well known. Namma Bengaluru Awards is a way of saying "Thank you" to all of these "real stars" of our city.
