An estimated 10 million Filipinos provide much needed labour around the world. On this edition of 101 East we ask to what extent are overseas remittances helping or hurting the Philippines?
10.04,yeah right, investment,it means that the govt is actually interested only when it comes to people who has money to invest, yet when some,oh,i might say most overseas worker need help from any phil representative, they cannot do as much as they think they do.
and by the way,its hard for me say these but in philippines, everything work faster and accurate if its illegal, which means theres a money envolve..shameful,but thats the ugly truth!
This civil servant is getting fatter because they just set on there offices waiting for there monthly salaries. I dont think majority of them does something positive for the country. most of them have government jobs because of there connections.
i know i honest so if you diced not put it on youtube i will rally in manila and see if i can get you off youre presdentcy i nottttttttttttttt give up mabey you give up on youre people but i dont !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
president arrowa open youre eyes ok see the treu and deal withit acordently but dont be ostrich by putting youre head in the sand they are youre people ok i dutch i cry everythime i see this
The OFW problem is something that has roots going back to the 80's. Good that these workers remit millions to their families. Bad because the country has been too much dependent on them, so dependent that it didn't bother shaping up the economy and itself as a nation. What's worse is that it can't help those who have been abused.
so what. what about military families......... they are always apart, But they still do what they do cause it for the good. Just like the workers, they need money to survived
