Knossos

This is my second video with pictures from my holidays on crete.
Knossos is a very important place for every true archaeologist. Sure it was very commercial today and thousands of people visit this place every year,but for me it was important to visit this place in my live.
I hope it is not to boring and you can enjoy this video.

Ha genial, dass du das Video mit der Indy 4 Musik verknüpft hast! Ich war auch in meinem Griechenland Urlaub 2006 in Knossos. Da wollte ich direkt unter den Steinen eine Ochsenstatue ausgraben und einen Entfernungsmesser drauf legen. Leider habe ich die beiden Hörner nicht gefunden! ;-)

Ich habe die Hörner auch gesucht, die haben vom Eingang aus geshen rechts ein paar Hörner aufgestellt. Als ich dort war, war es wie ein deja vue, werde den Besuch dort auch nie vergessen. Es ist auch ganz schön kommerz dort, viele Menschen werden dort durchgeschleust. Toll das du auch da warst für mich ein "must do", in diesem Leben :D War auch noch auf Santorini, der Reiseleiter hat dann noch was von der Atlantistheorie erzählt. Hab mich gefühlt wie Indy :D

Are they still doing further digging at the site you visited? Like the way you edited together the video footage with the still images. Gave a unique perspective of the site as well as your experience there. Timing of the images was just right too. Always good to document one's adventures!

Hmm i think they restore many old buildings and columns. The travel guide Women talked that are a location on knossos that can not be visited from anybody. I think they digging anymore, i know on Santorin are diggings but on this time is the digging place blocked for visitors.

Im looking forward to your projekt too Chris:-)

A very cool archeological site, reminded me a lot of a cross between the Roman Forum and the Acropolis in Greece! Seems incredibly well preserved too. Anything really striking that stood out in your mind from seeing it Matze?

Definitely a must visit location. Amazing to think of how many people have walked on that very site that you were on. Incredible!

Very impressive stonework there and a lot more standing structures and elements than I had suspected and the frescos were insanely neat!

I dont know why but the horn´s of the minotaur are not something very impressive art but i remember gladly on it. I think Fate of Atlantis leave one's mark on me.

I have a crass impression from this location, the Travel Guide women talk fast:)
