It is the dependency that is the greater horror, not just the physical effects. I used to smoke cigarettes. At the end of my smoking the primary reason to quit that bubbled up to the top was: slavery. Why was I voluntarily enslaving myself to a drug?

OTOH, if we do not need to do it everyday, why do it at all? See the trap?

@FathomlessJoy Friends are not overrated. I haven't always depended on a drug. I haven't always smoked weed. I've went years without weed or any other drug before. My life is the same as it was then. There's nothing to come clean about. I work hard everyday. I go to the gym 4 days out of the week and eat healthy. I never lie and I take all responsibility without question. Like I said my friend the only "drug" he does is herb. And hes got a sweet and job and manages to save 10,000 and still savin

It is the drug abusers who point to others saying, "they are worse than me" that live in the thickest fog of denial and self delusion. Get clean, put your life in order, and these things will make sense. So long as you depend on a drug to cope, you will have not understanding of what we discuss here.
