Sang by Pia Allgaier for the German release of Tangled. I prefer this woman's voice to Mandy's. She has a more folky voice (fits song) while Mandy is a pop ballad performer. BTW, this film is actually called Rapunzel in Germany!

Yes I agree this is better than the Mandy version, for me particularly for one reason that kinda disturbed my ears in the English version: the second verse, "...bit of ballet and chess", when the "and chess" goes, the slide there is just going up too long, it's off for me... Call me hairsplitting:), but my daughter watched it like 5x a day for month so I got too sensitive for that haha... But I love the whole soundtrack, i'll even use the healing incantation in one of my ads i think

@Kirijirii muss sich doch nicht immer alles reimen. Besser kein Reim als mit aller Kraft irgendwas zu erzwingen. Es reicht das angedeutete Reime da sind. Ich hätte jedenfalls keine Lust auf "Reim dich oder ich Schlag dich". xD

Außerdem ist die Übersetzung ehrlich gesagt außergewöhnlich gut. 1 : 1 kann man ohnehin kein Lied von einer in die andere Sprache übersetzen. ;-)

Ok, though Disney songs are most rhymed in English, only Tarzan and Pocahontas are really English tales! Stories like Aladdin, Mulan, beauty and the beast, the little mermaid, and Tangled still sound the best in their original languages! Tangled in German is just better and more reasonable than in English.
