The ancient chamorros were micronesians closely related to yapese n palauans but then came along the Spanish n screwed up their race by killing most of the chammorro men and then introducing Filipino's to intermarry and mess up the true chammorro/micronesian bloodline... The chammorro now days are actually really Filipino more than pacific islanders. Just look at other pacific islands the native people of Micronesia, Polynesia n Melanesia are dark skin people.

@Taipati671 lol look who is talking?! Where did you get your facts from? Come here! Sit down! Ima take you to school for a minute!! Austronesians can't be mixed with Polynesians,Melanesians or Micronesians, you know why??? Because these three were ONCE Austronesians!! Its like saying your half a horse and a pony?!! But in your case Donkey, no worries, just smile =)
And STOP taking the "HAKA" and keep trying to make them Chamorro!! Just be proud of who you are NOW!! You cant change the past!!!!

@Taipati671 really?.?. Were you there 500 years ago to know that this was EXACTLY what these dances looks like before the Spaniards took over? Just ask any Guam-historian and they can attest to the Spanish influences in Guam rather than these "made up" dances. Shoot, we can back to all the vintage photos of Guam (thru Google) as well as all the other Pacific Islands and see for ourselves.

@Taipati671 I will not deny the fact that our descedants are from Asia, migrating into Micronesia and Polynesia, however you must accept the changes over time, ESPECIALLY when the Spaniards arrived into Guam. Its evidently been that way up until now via the food, language, traditional wear, and dances. You're clearly in denial of the fact that these "made up" dances of Guam, having no historical evidence to support this. A DVD-doc called Dances of life has Mr. Rabon admitting these claims.

Hi, me & about 4 other girls have been wanting to join a cultural dance group. We are wondering where you guys are located and if it is possible if we could join you guys. We would also like to know where do you guys perform at?
Please & Thank You.
FYI: The Polynesians are a younger breed of people from the South East Asian Region! If anything, the people of Polynesia didn't migrate to the islands of Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, until about 2 thousand years after the people of Melanesia and Micronesia (Chamorros). Your people are OUR descendants. You came from the same people as we did, EXCEPT the genetics changed OVER TIME do to INTERMIXING of ABORIGINAL BLOOD (Australia) and AUSTRONESIAN!
Educate Yourself, before making ASSUMPTIONS!
