Otis died just one day after this performance. The plane that carried him and the Bar-Kays, also featured here as his backing band, crashed into that ice lake in Madison, Wisconsin where they were scheduled to play. A better quality, slightly longer clip than one very popular on YouTube.

Otis ? 10-10 ! No one can sing his signature songs like he did... to much soul... he could translate hard emotion into song.
