Abomination of Desolation

I am one of those that thinks the Abomination of Desolation was indeed the Roman ensigns. HOWEVER, you do bring up a very credible argument that crossed my mind at one time but I never felt was as compelling as ensigns. It could be that you are right, because before the Temple was officially sacked, the Jews themselves were already murdering each other in the streets and tossing corpses into the Temple which is forbidden. They also set fire to the Temple themselves before Romans did.

Matthew 24:14 says the gospel of the kingdom would be proclaimed to the whole world and to all nations then the end would come.
Do you believe the Bible?
Paul says in Romans 16:27,28 and in Colossians 1:6,23 that the gospel at that time had already gone out to the whole world and to all nations.
"The end" of the Age came soon after in AD 70!

I thought I was the only one who saw this in the bible!... what a trip!... I try to explain this to my friends and family and they think I'm teaching a different gosple. Its so clear! If Jesus was the word of God and he said he would come back for THEM, in THEIR day..then I believe he did!!

@AllThingsFulfilled We agree that Matthew 24: 15 has been fulfilled. What is interesting is that in Matthew 24:34; Mark 13:30; Luke 21:32, uses the Greek word "ginomai" which has been interpreted as "fulfilled" or "done" but the definition of "ginomai" is " to cause to be" generate, to become or come into being, arise, or to put it simply to "begin".The word "fulfilled" in the above text don't mean to be "complete" or "finished" but the prophecy was to "begin" in the apostle days.
Thus we must teach through every avenue we can and one at a time, two by two, then by three's then by dozens, then by hundreds, then by thousands, then by millions. Whenever one man takes a stand for truth, rest assured others will follow.

And you don't have an argument do you?
AllThingsFulfilled 3 years ago
And you don't know how to correctly hit the "reply" button, but that is a moot point.
My argument is simple. Jesus said he would return before his followers died. Well, they've been dead for 2,000 years now and we're still waiting for Jesus. To continue to believe despite such obvious evidence this religion is a falsehood is, well, silly.

My argument is simple. Jesus said he would return before his followers who stood in his presence died.(Matt. 16:28, 24:34) They are all dead, therefore Christ returned. To continue to wait for him to do what he has already done is, well...unbelief.
