No.......the kitten WANTS to eat, this is how they behave when they are HUNGRY. Feeding them with a syringe is not a natural feeding, and the kitten will flail around like that to get the food. They should have a kitten bottle, then the kitten will settle down after they latch on to the bottle and suck.

@imperialgreymon No, she is not nuts and yes, the kitten does want to eat. The kitten is exhibiting what is known as "locking"...otherwise known as a latching reflex in order to secure the "nipple" to *by evolutionary standpoint* get an ample amount of liquid. It has been observed in some isolate feeding cases that those specific kittens will "lock" in a fairly abstractual mannerism resulting in the said nipple to be ergonomically "seated" on the tongue/palate inducing a stronger desire to feed.
