Sir David talks to Nobel Peace Prize-winner Martti Ahtisaari about his long career in international conflict resolution.

The former president of Finland has for many years been engaged in conflict resolution, in countries and regions including Namibia, where he assisted in negotiations leading to its independence in 1990. He then became a special adviser in former Yugoslavia, and has been active in Northern Ireland and Indonesia among other countries.

The thing I find most pathetic is the Russians. Their grudge against Ahtisaari because helping Kosovo free. "Ahtisaari will not rest before Viipuri is freed from Russia. And that's when Nato comes along because Finland can't do it alone" I mean come on. Kreml owns all of the papers in Russia so the people believe what Putin wants them to believe. But still.
