When ppl say bw are tryin to be white they arent necessarily saying that those bw are aware of it whil doing it. If you have nappy hair you can try washing you hair with JUST conditioner and boiled water. Your hair will become more manageable. Try to love your hair first and if you can't...wonder why and tell me again that the weaves and wigs arent an attempt to conform to Western Beauty Standards....

I love how this has managed to unify so many people in the black community in America~ Asians love to stick together which I also think is a good thing but of course it doesn't matter what colour you are...but unfortunately some people don't feel that wayyyy so the debates and issues will continue on! :)

With all due respect, you really do need to shut off the youtube and pick up a history book or two.

Blacks need to compete and open up their businesses. I've seen businesses owned by Koreans, Pakistanis, Mexicans but rarely, and I mean very rarely from blacks. Boycotting is not the only option.

What a bunch of clowns, if black women knew their roots they would not spend so much money trying to look like a white women.

Why is it that if you buy weave/wigs its about trying to look and or be white? For me, my hair has a mind of its own lol...and its easier to wear a weave and or wig sometimes because it can be quite expensive for hair care when your hair is on the more coarse side. A wig can save you money in the long run. I live in a humid place and my hair will get so puffy b/c of the heat. So for me it's just easier. But it has nothing to do with trying to be white...
