  • Black Unity is a problem in the entire world not just the US.

  • natural black hair can be nourished with natural oil you can buy from grocery or vitamin stores. If even half of the black population went natural, it would put lots of people out of business..

  • I believe spending money is optional , you can choose to spend your money any where anytime and there shouldn't be a question about that. And since the minority need the support of the community , then why can they work with the majority or work with those who have been in business for over a century?

  • I think the basic solution to this issues , is to have black beauty owners and Korean owner work togerher( or buy shares) . you're not gonna expect every black person to shop in his or her fellow brother's store just because there of the same race, or just because the bussiness should be handled by the right people or delivered to the same type.

  • I have definitely noticed how well the korean and chinese can clean up with their beauty supply stores. I myself have been a regular customer for years. I have spent ENOUGH on weave & other products in their stores. I don't think there will be a true boycott of korean beauty supply stores all because there are so many women who just don't care and will still buy weave. We have to learn how to treat our own hair black women. It will make you feel so much better.

  • I wanna adopt that kid! sooo wise.!!

  • Buy and Spend Black

  • @pleeeeep, POOR people have the biggest problem. Native Americans suffer the same level of obesity and even MORE alcoholism, drug addiction and crime on their reservations than do Blacks in the US. I guess one just wonders why you're negatively singling out Black people's weight issues on a video about Black hair. Still sounds like a racist statement made by a poster who is non-Black.

  • I want say that we have lost the war in supply but we can get raw materials and create our own brands, just like they have duplicated the process we can do it too. Now this will not only save the Black communities but this will also help the US economy. The reason why we are doing so poorly is because we no longer make anything, so please don't believe that it is only black people that have been effected it is whites too they have lost all their factory jobs to outsourcing. Lets take back the US

  • black people always blaming others for their own demise.

Being the victim died out 60 years ago! Your ancestors fought hard for all the equality you are rendered with today, now get your black asses to school, get some education, and find some damm unity.

  • @YEELKEED Gosh I posted that comment two years ago. Of course we need products, whether we are natural or not. Black's should unite instead of distrusting and hurting one another because we need each other to keep afloat and to keep other cultures from stealing our hard earned money. Often, being natural is one way an African American such as myself can start to embrace their blackness, to really see who they are. But that's just one path. Anyway, yes, I know this is about business.

  • @123HommieN You are so ignorant this is not about embracing about afro hair alone, it is about buying hair shampoos, conditioners and creams basically it is bout being shut out from products that your the black community predominately uses. I do not press my hair or use weave but I use shampoos so the issue is these Koreas/Asians completely disregard the black community that they make so much money from them.
