Radomir smokes another cigarette right up to the filter. It's the fourtiest day of the thirteenth year that he wakes up in no-man's land. Rohypnol and Leponex are on the menu. Another 24 hours of boredom await him... Since 1992, Radomir and twenty other Bosnians, most of them psychiatric patients, live behind bars in the closed segment of a Hungarian refugee-camp. How they ended up there? Radomir remembers grenades hitting near the old klinic in Bosnia when the war broke out. "We were put in a bus at night, 'we're fleeing!', called the schrink". The group ended up in Hungary where they're taken care of by three nurses since then. "One day they'll come and get me. I want to go back to Bosnia to die there", says Radomir. But thirteen years later still nobody comes to get him....
Two Dutch reporters try to find out the bizzarre story of these forgotten Bosnians. How does a group of Bosnian schizophrenics end up in Hungary? Why are they already there for thirteen years? What's their background, where is their family, what authority is responsible? For one-and-a-half year, they travel back and forth between Hungary and Bosnia to find out...
Mostly in Bosnian, little in Hungarian and Dutch...
