I grew up in Washington, CT, now live in Northern California, but I know every inch of Steep Rock. If you ever go there, be sure to walk through the old railroad tunnel......

As I've posted in the past, I love your video of Steep Rock, and have used it as an introduction to the place for people I plan on taking there, or to folks I've merely suggested it to as a wonderful place to walk. Thank you so much for this useful and enjoyable video.
I'm wondering if you've made any similar videos of other places open to the public in this general vicinity?
Tanks again,
Doug

steep rock a place of solace and wonder... many many hikes there with friends in the late 1960s and 1970s at all times of the year. I always wondered about the young lad Robert Frost who at 10 died there on Columbus Day... for his spirit and all the others that have climbed up, in , and around Steep Rock. Thank you for posting. A wonderful and peaceful place. Jay Marciano Silver Spring MD

Beautiful, it has been many years since I've seen steep rock. I don't get there as ofter as I would like to. Long Beach California is a long drive. Thank you for the memories.

Head toward Washington Depot on 47 from Woodbury. Once in the center of Washington Depot turn left on River Rd. Follow River Rd about 1 mile(?). The entrance will go down a little hill, it's close to the river. Parking is right there also.
