  • (4) okay, I'm done. Sorry, I hate to be the guy that leaves a bunch of negative comments about something you guys REALLY enjoyed but I too am a horror fan and I feel that the movie was at points unbearable. Sorry again for the many comments and I def. hope to see more reviews from you guys. Your insight into these films are very interesting. I'm officially a fan.

  • (3) like, "Oh sweet, I saw this in a movie once and it had a great impact for that scene. Let me work it in" I felt there were WAY too many cinematography meshes in H2 as well, to the point where it didn't seem like the director had his own vision so much as he borrowed many others. I will give him credit for leaving Lori and her friend with both physical and emotional scars from the first one because often times you feel that there is no reminder of the horrors of their past but they wear it.

  • (2) it was like a perfect breeding ground for a murderer. I GOT it but it did not have the unsettling affect of the original. Not to mention Rob gives this character a face and therefore humanizes him. Yes, he becomes this unstoppable killing machine but it's like you're saying, "Oh, it's not his fault. Look at his family". I do think that in the sequels remake Rob became a bit more ambitious in his cinematography (he also did some daring stuff in the first one) but it all felt very contrived.

  • Hey guys. I def. appreciate your reviews because I can tell that you guys are total horror fans. I think what you're doing is awesome. I personally did not care for the Halloween remakes. What scared me the most about the original and it's sequel is that we do not understand what made this child from a perfectly normal household suddenly butcher his sister. In the remake we see that he is subjected to terrible emotional and physical abuse and that he is more than likely BORN a sociopath anyhow.

  • Love the review.

  • great video!
