Part 1 of 3. Short film adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's poem "Ulalume", complete with ghouls, a dead girl, and a fractured soul--wouldn't you know, it just happens to be Halloween night. Helpful background info: ghouls are shape-shifting demons that feed off the dead. Produced by Steve Landau, starring Sarah Schweppe, music by Adrian Foster, directed by David Sabin.
A brilliant and touching exposition of this great poem... and I like the little moth emerging from his cocoon..

You have done a brilliant expose of this GREAT poem. Please see my comment after Part 2.
I wish you would do something similar for Poe's Dream-land. When hiking in the Maze in Utah, it kept going thru my mind. Thank you again

Ok piece of art, but where has the rhythm gone.

Interesting imagery but the text is a distraction. Also the reader ends almost every line on the same little emphasis that gets distracting too, it's almost like the audio equivalent of the text on the visuals, it should be read but it underlies the music and echoing voice like a little sing song.
