IK86 Reviews - Pokemon Red & Blue (Game Boy)

This week I'm taking a look at the catalyst of the Pokemon franchise, and the only part of said franchise that still has life left in it.

I actually had a bit of a cold while working on this, so yeah, if my voice sounds whackier than usual, thats why lol.

I also stand by my opnions on the character of Ash. In my honest opinion, he was transformed from a character to a plot device as soon as Pokemon Advance made mention of the fact that he was ten (again) when in fact, he should've been around 12/13 at that point. In the ten-plus years that the show has been on air, Ash has made no real progress at all, and if the anime is so intent on copying the games, then the writers should remove Ash and let another trainer take his place. I may not watch the series anymore, but I've done my homework.

I miss the old pokemon music, voice actors, and characters. Ash's new voice doesn't fit with him, I'm kinda shocked that the anime is still going on. Some people say they still make millions of dollars but I'm pretty sure they made a lot more back then. And when ever it comes to popular shows theres usually gonna be knock offs and wannabes such as bakugan a.k.a. the worst anime ever and worst ripoff.

In the Black and White anime, Brock Misty, there just not there...What the Hell?

I personally think Red is the best Pokemon game closely followed by Ranger, thats right I said It I enjoyed pokemon ranger...

@scarrantsandreviews no offense just saying Ivs were introduced in the first games with red a blue ( red and green in japan first if you want to get technical haha) Gen III just overhauled them in how the data was stored as well as increasing the max IV to 31 (in Gen I and II the max IV was 15)

@scarrantsandreviews .... play online with friends, mainly because my friends aren't gamers. And a larger amount of Pokèmon, I gotta say that 600 (now with the 5. Generation) is A TON, but I really don't like them, I don't know why. They're all so.. hard to explain..well, probably just my taste.

@scarrantsandreviews I play the originals now and then, and they're still better then the new ones (IMO). The new regions were cool, I gotta say that, nothing big or better, but nice to see that, better graphics/audio is pretty much useless, nice to have, but the game is the core, I would rather play Pong than a game with epic graphics but bad gameplay. More depth to the gameplay? I'm not really sure what you mean with that. Online doesn't matter because I don't really ....
