WW1 the war to end all wars. as destructive as it was, it was only a prequel to a war many times more deadly, destructive and infinitely more dark than WW1. this war was based on militarism, nationalism, glory.

WW1 was a waste and a pointless war. Many leaders have a lot to answer for. Millions of young boys died so what? Leaders could gain more land? Show off how powerful their militarized nations where? I for one wish the USA never got involved in WW1 but stayed out of it.

how sad. i am sure those young soldiers, who came from good homes and didnt know the meaning of terrism, at least believed after the war their sons wont experience what they did. years later, it seems ww1 was only the introduction to the real tragedy
